Originally from the great city of Buffalo, New York, I got my start drawing comics and cartoons for real at The Hill, the student newspaper of Henderson Community College in western Kentucky. I went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky, where I majored in creative writing and drew cartoons for the student newspaper, The Kentucky Kernel.
After graduating, I worked at The Gleaner, the Henderson daily newspaper, for over three years as a news clerk and paginator before moving out to the Seattle area to study computer animation at the DigiPen Institute of Technology. I've been doing art and animation for video games ever since.
But I still love drawing comics and cartoons, which is why Smoked Salmon is a thing.
I currently reside in the greater seattle area, with my beautiful wife and son, and our dear dog.
